כנס עמותת באבל קר השנתי – מפגש קהילה מרגש

באי הכנס בהרצאה

ביום שישי, 5.9.2025, התכנסנו במרכז הכנסים "ישראל יפה" שבתל אביב לכנס השנתי של עמותת באבל קר. זה היה יום מלא השראה, חיבורים אישיים ושיתוף ידע – עם קרוב ל־100 משתתפים: מטופלים, בני משפחותיהם, רופאים מובילים, חוקרים ושותפים מהתעשייה.

הרצאות ומחקר פורץ דרך

שמענו מהרופאים הרצאות מרתקות על מחלות ריאה (ברונכיאקטזיות) בקרב חולים עם חסר חיסוני, על גישות חדשות לאבחון, ועל הנחיות עדכניות לבדיקות סקר במטופלי CVID.

החוקרים שיתפו בהתקדמות מרגשת בתחום התיקון הגנטי.

היה מעורר השראה לראות מקרוב את האנשים שמובילים את המאמצים האלה – ואת המסירות האדירה שהם מביאים איתם:

• קבוצת המחקר ממעבדתו של פרופ' אייל הנדל באוניברסיטת בר־אילן, העובדת על טיפול למחלת ה- .SCID

• חברת נוגה תרפויטיקס בראשות נועם באומץ, שמקדמת מחקר חדשני לטיפול במחלת XLA.

פאנל ושיחות פתוחות

בפאנל שאלות ותשובות, בהשתתפות רופאים בכירים בתחום האימונולוגיה ומחלות ריאה, ניתנה הזדמנות ייחודית לחברי הקהילה להפנות שאלות לרופאים מומחים.בנוסף קיימנו קבוצות דיון קטנות, שבהן מטופלים ובני משפחותיהם שיתפו חוויות ותמכו זה בזה – שיחות כאלה הן לב ליבו של מה שהופך את הקהילה שלנו לחזקה.

מאחורי הקלעים

חברי הוועד שלנו, העובדים בהתנדבות השקיעו מכל הלב כדי להרים את הכנס:ארז, אייל, זוהר, יהודית, נועם, חיים, ובמיוחד יו"ר העמותה – רותי – שהובילה את התהליך כולו.

תודה גדולה לכולם

הכנס הזה לא היה יכול להתקיים אלמלא האנשים היקרים שהשקיעו מזמנם, ממרצם מכל הלב.

Bubble Care Annual Conference – A HeartwarmingCommunity Gathering

פאנל המומחים עונים על שאלות חברי הקהילה

 On Friday, September 5, 2025, we gathered at the “Israel Yafeh” Conference Center in Tel Aviv for the annual Bubble Care Association Conference. It was a day full of inspiration, personal connections, and knowledge sharing – with nearly 100 participants, including patients, families, physicians, researchers, and partners from the pharmaceutical industry.

Lectures and Groundbreaking Research

We heard fascinating talks on lung disease (bronchiectasis) in patients with primary immunodeficiency, on new approaches to diagnosis, and on updated on routine testing guidelines for CVID patients.

Researchers presented exciting progress in genetic therapies: The research group of Prof. Eyal Handel at Bar-Ilan University, working on SCID. Noga Therapeutics, led by Noam Baumatz, advancing innovative genetic correction for XLA.

Panel and Open Discussions

A Q&A panel, with senior physicians specializing in immunology and lung diseases, gave participants the chance to engage directly with experts.

We also held small group discussions, where patients and families shared their experiences and supported one another – moments that

remind us what true community is all about.

Behind the Scenes

Our committee members, who work on a voluntary basis, put their whole heart into making the conference happen: Erez, Eyal, Zohar, Yehudit, Noam, Haim, and especially the association's chairwoman – Ruti – who led the entire process.
